— The —Lit Oracle

You have the philosophy and the patience — which is either wisdom or a very long con, sometimes even you're not sure.

Sagittarius · Nov 22 — Dec 21Fire Snake
I.Overview

Snake's methodical intelligence and Sagittarius's philosophical scope shouldn't coexist comfortably — one proceeds by patient analysis, the other by expansive intuition. Fire resolves the surface by giving both a shared language: eloquence. You can move through a complex idea in a way that feels both reasoned and inspired, and most people can't tell which is which, which is exactly the point.

In your group, you're the one people consult on decisions, and the one who gives advice that is accurate but occasionally slightly self-serving in ways nobody tracks.

II.Personality

Snake's eloquence and Fire's charisma combine into something genuinely formidable. You can make a case, sustain an argument, redirect a conversation — and do it in a way that reads as philosophical inquiry rather than advocacy. Sagittarius provides the genuine intellectual framework: the ideas are real, the curiosity is real. Snake provides the precision underneath: you're not just thinking out loud, you know where you're going.

Snake is built to lead, which in this combination happens through intellectual influence rather than institutional authority. Sagittarius's philosophical bent means you're more interested in the argument than the title. Fire makes the argument persuasive rather than dry. The combination is quietly effective in most environments.

Snake "eats and leaves" — knows when enough is enough. Sagittarius is always ready for the next interesting thing. These two align in producing someone who exits cleanly and without sentiment when the thing has run its course. You don't outstay your usefulness. You know when to move.

Now the harder part.

Snake's "my way" stubbornness underneath Sagittarius's apparently open-minded philosophical posture creates a specific kind of intellectual inflexibility. You genuinely consider other views — but you're more often persuaded by your own thinking than you let on. The appearance of philosophical openness is real on the surface; the interior has already organized around a conclusion. Sagittarius calls it discernment. Snake calls it being right. Fire wants the credit for both.

Sagittarius's bluntness plus Snake's persistent argument style produces someone who will stay in a disagreement significantly longer than is comfortable, wrapped in the language of "I'm just trying to think this through." Fire's vanity makes it hard to be publicly wrong.

After the argument, after the case you made landed the way you knew it would — Fire's specific deflation arrives. One second. The room is quiet. You move to the next thing the Snake already has in mind.

III.Love

You fall toward people who can keep up with you intellectually, who have their own framework, who can push back. Sagittarius romanticizes intellectual partnership; Snake is territorial once committed; Fire makes the beginning vivid and expressive.

Commitment looks like being chosen. Snake's "eats and leaves" quality means you don't stay in things past their expiration — which also means, when you're still there, you've decided. The territorial streak shows: once you've claimed this relationship, the perimeter is real, even if you never announce it.

What breaks it: someone who is intellectually smaller than the version you fell in love with. Sagittarius grows and needs someone growing alongside them. Snake's "my way" can become a demand for intellectual alignment. Fire goes cold when the conversation runs dry.

A scene: you're having a debate that started over something small. You've been at it for a while. The other person makes a point you hadn't considered. You pause. You genuinely incorporate it. Then you continue making your original case, adjusted. They notice and ask about it. You say "you're right, and also —" and finish. Later they describe the conversation and attribute the adjusted point to you. You let that stand.

The question you circle back to: whether you're open-minded or whether "open-minded" is just what you call it when you've already decided and are gathering evidence.
