Earth's cooperative quality softens the Monkey's power-seeking instinct from dominance into facilitation. They still end up running things. They just frame it as helping.
Now the shadow.
The Monkey, after repeated setbacks, gets stuck in mental loops. Libra's indecision can compound this into extended periods of recirculating without resolution. Earth's stubbornness means the loop can run longer than it should. When this combination hits a sustained failure — something that doesn't resolve quickly — the gap between the capable, charming surface and the private spiral underneath becomes significant.
