— The —RADIANT FUGITIVE

Wants to be seen. Shrinks slightly the moment it happens.

Leo · Jul 23 — Aug 22Fire Rabbit
I.Overview

Leo wants recognition — real, specific recognition, not flattery. Fire turns this into expressive warmth, the kind of presence that makes rooms feel larger. The Rabbit complicates everything. The Rabbit is image-conscious, soft on the surface and sharper underneath, wants safety, and when something goes sideways, its first instinct is to leave rather than fight. Put Leo's need for the spotlight next to the Rabbit's flight reflex, and you get someone who wants very much to be seen and has very little tolerance for the exposure that being seen requires.

In your group, you're the person who showed up brilliantly and disappeared before someone could tell you so.

II.Personality

The Leo-Fire surface is real — you have warmth, expressiveness, the capacity to make people feel central when you're paying attention to them. When you're in a room and comfortable, the energy is genuinely good: the conversation is better, the dynamic is lighter, and the person you're talking to goes home thinking the evening was better for your presence. You're not performing this. It's an actual quality.

The Rabbit's anxiety runs underneath all of it. Not in a way that's always visible — the soft demeanor is charming and agile, and the sharper interior rarely surfaces. But you're reading the room for threat even while performing warmth. Image-consciousness is structural: you notice how you're coming across before you've finished having the thought. The Leo pride makes this more acute. Being seen poorly is worse than not being seen, and this is a problem when the solution to being seen poorly is also being not seen.

What the Rabbit does under pressure is leave. Not dramatically — the Rabbit doesn't make scenes. It creates distance, becomes unavailable, allows the situation to de-escalate through absence. You've done this. The Leo part of you sometimes feels the cost of it afterward — the recognition that you left something that might have been worth staying for.

Now the part you don't post about.

Fire people fear the quiet after the audience leaves. For you, the audience is what you want and also what you can't quite handle. The specific tension: when someone says something accurate and unwelcome about you — in conflict, in a close moment, in a critique — the Leo surface wants to be someone who can take it. The Rabbit wants to be very far from this conversation, immediately. You've learned to hold still. You don't always manage it. The gap between the held-still exterior and the internal flight response is something only you can feel, and you feel it often.

III.Love

You fall in love with people who feel safe — and the Leo surface immediately complicates this, because you perform a confidence that draws in people with a lot of presence, and a lot of presence is not always safe. You have a specific type: someone who makes you feel recognized without making you feel exposed.

When you commit, the Rabbit's loyalty shows up more durably than you'd expect. You're more constant than you appear, more invested than the ease of your demeanor suggests. The love Leo imagines — the specific gesture, the expressive moment — you can deliver. You want to deliver it. The Rabbit just needs to be certain it won't go wrong first, and certainty takes longer than is always available.

What breaks it: having your image punctured in front of your partner — being seen in a way that doesn't match how you've been performing yourself. The Leo wound is about not being recognized. The Rabbit wound is about being seen too clearly in a moment of weakness. Together, these make criticism feel like a double violation, even when the criticism is offered gently.

A moment: your person says something true about you — quietly, accurately, in private. Nothing dramatic. Just a small, correct observation you weren't prepared for. You smile and agree. Later you replay it more times than necessary, trying to locate the exact tone in which it was offered, and whether it means what you're afraid it means.

The radiance isn't a lie. The running is also real. Both are how you stay intact.
