Tiger is all-in on whatever it's chasing: ambitious, quick-tempered, impatient with anything that moves slower than it does. Gemini adds a dozen open tabs, all of them interesting, all of them pulling attention from each other. Wood gives the whole thing a moral charge — there's a right answer, a better way, a vision of how things should work — which means this combination can't just sprint, it has to sprint in the right direction. The result is someone who is genuinely impressive to watch when they're locked in, and genuinely difficult when they're not. In a group, you're the one who moves the energy — faster, brighter, more provocative — and occasionally the one who needs to be talked back from the ledge after a fight.
Tiger ambition + Gemini cognition produces a specific kind of intelligence: fast, synthetic, able to see across a problem quickly. When Wood's conviction is behind it, the output is sharp. You think well under pressure, better than in calm, which means you've occasionally manufactured urgency to help yourself focus.

You're harder to work with than you intend to be. Tiger demands a lot and doesn't always register what that costs other people. Gemini shifts position mid-project without fully tracking that others organized around the previous position. Wood adds the implication that if they'd just done it right, none of this restructuring would be necessary.
Wood's existential fear — stagnation — hits Tiger particularly hard, because the Tiger's life has natural peaks and drops, and the drop periods feel like evidence that you've plateaued. They're not. But that's not what they feel like inside the drop.
Tiger falls fast. Gemini falls across multiple dimensions simultaneously — the wit, the ideas, the look of the person, the potential. Wood idealizes. This is a lot of falling for one relationship to handle.
Early on you're an intense partner — present, dramatic in the good way, someone who makes a relationship feel alive. Tiger forgets fast, which means you can reset after a fight in a way that either feels liberating or frightening depending on the other person's attachment style.
What eventually strains things: someone who matches the version of you that existed when you met but can't move with you into the next one. Wood's fear of stagnation is existential — becoming the person who stopped growing — and a relationship that requires you to freeze feels, eventually, like a slow emergency.
What breaks you: someone who doesn't see what you see. Not intelligence — willingness. The willingness to move, to risk, to say the uncomfortable thing out loud. Someone who prefers the lower register of life while you're living several decibels higher.
A scene: You're in the middle of explaining something you care about — a plan, a read on a situation, something you figured out. The other person listens. They respond thoughtfully. And you realize they thought you were venting, when you were actually proposing. The gap between what you meant and what they heard is bigger than the conversation can close in one sitting.
You lead with a lot. Most people appreciate it. The ones who can handle it are worth finding.
