— The —PRECISION ROOSTER

You have an eye, a standard, and a temper. The first two cover for the third most days.

Aries · Mar 21 — Apr 19Metal Rooster
I.Overview

The Rooster sees what's beautiful and what's wrong with surgical clarity. The Metal builds the structure that supports the seeing. The Aries supplies the willingness to actually act on the verdict. The combination is a person whose taste is conspicuous and whose criticism, when it lands, lands accurately enough to be hard to dismiss. You've been called difficult. You've also been the one whose recommendations everyone secretly waited for.

In your friend group, you're the one whose opinion on the new restaurant, the new album, the new partner is the one that ends up being right.

II.Personality

You have aesthetic foresight. The Rooster sees ahead — knows which trend is real, which restaurant will last, which person is going somewhere. The Metal organizes the foresight into reliable judgment. The Aries gets there first and bets accordingly. People who follow your taste later realize you were three years early on something they only just discovered.

You're generous with what you love. The Rooster spends freely on what matters to it; the Aries doesn't hesitate; the Metal makes sure the spending is purposeful rather than scattered. The friend you take out, the project you bankroll, the cause you support — none of it is performative. It's just what you do when you've decided something is worth your resources.

You can do solitary work that other people can't. The Rooster has a private corner; the Metal can grind on a single problem for years; the Aries doesn't need an audience to start. You're capable of quiet, sustained effort on things nobody else knows you're working on, and then arriving with the finished thing already done.

Shadow Side

The temper is real and it embarrasses you afterwards. The Rooster's hot trigger meets the Aries flash meets the Metal's certainty that you were correct. You can demolish someone in a sentence. You don't always mean to. Sometimes you do. Either way, the room remembers, and you've been known as the one who cuts in places where you'd rather have been known for something else.

You're more of a talker than a doer in the parts of your life that don't have your full attention. The Rooster sees ahead but doesn't always execute; the Aries gets bored before the boring middle; the Metal won't grind on something that isn't already pre-validated as worth it. You have plans that would have been brilliant. You haven't started them. You won't.

The thing underneath: you chose the people in your inner circle precisely for their ability to see you accurately. You can stand misjudgment from strangers — they don't matter. The cut is the chosen witness, the one you specifically allowed close, who keeps reaching for the wrong version of you. They keep treating you as the difficult one, or the talented one, or the sharp one — using a single trait to mean the whole. Being incompletely seen by your selected complete witness is the wound that doesn't dress.

III.Love

You fall through aesthetic recognition. The way they move through a room. The objects in their apartment. The specific quality of their attention to detail. The Rooster needs the whole picture to be right before it can love. The Aries pushes the timeline; the Metal verifies; the Rooster keeps the standard.

You commit through curated devotion. You don't love generically. You love in specifics — the exact thing they like, the precise way they like it, delivered without fanfare and without the wrong substitute. The Rooster's eye for detail combined with the Metal's discipline produces a partner who gets it right, in a way that becomes one of the central reliabilities of the relationship.

What breaks you is being lived with carelessly. Someone who can't be bothered to remember the details. Someone who is fundamentally messy with what you've built. The Rooster recoils; the Metal disapproves; the Aries makes the move toward the door before you've consciously decided to.

A scene: You've made dinner. The plate looks the way you wanted it to look. They sit down, glance at it, eat it without seeing it, talk about something else the entire meal. Halfway through, you realize they haven't noticed any of the choices you made — the wine, the small thing on the side, the particular way you sliced what you sliced. You finish your meal. You clear the plates. Later, washing up alone, you make a small private decision that they will not feel until much later, when you stop making the meals at all, and they will not understand why.

You don't need to be loved loudly. You just need to be loved by someone who actually sees what you put in front of them.
