Wood's shadow is the melancholy that sets in when reality keeps failing the ideal. They have a vision, they see the distance between that vision and what's actually happening, and the distance is felt at a low, persistent frequency that they rarely name as grief.

They fall through extended proximity and observation. Aquarius needs to know the intellectual terrain; Wood watches for someone with genuine standards; Goat moves toward people who feel safe before people who feel exciting. By the time feelings become visible, they're substantial.
They love through quiet reliability — showing up, remembering the specific things, managing problems before the other person encounters them. The love is in the infrastructure. Consistent enough to become invisible. Invisible enough to be taken for granted.
They don't say when they're being taken for granted. They should. They know this. They wait for a better moment, and the better moment keeps not arriving.

The correction would be small and simple. They let it pass. They adjust to the slightly wrong version the other person has of them, the way they've adjusted before, the way they're good at adjusting.
